Going home, visiting family or meeting a new business partner — every journey starts with a place that matters. Browse our destinations, find the one that calls you, then check the flights available for your dates.
Somalia's capital brings together business, culture and life beside the Indian Ocean. For many, arriving here means coming home to family. For others, it marks the start of a new working relationship or an important personal journey.
Its coastline, commercial energy and close-knit communities give Mogadishu a character all of its own. Plan your visit around the people you want to see and the purpose of your trip — then let the city do the rest.
Hargeisa is a centre of commerce, culture and community — a city where journeys so often bring families back together or open the door to new business.
Busy markets and an enterprising spirit are part of everyday life here. Whether you are returning to relatives, attending an event or making a working visit, Hargeisa welcomes you as a meeting point for people and places you know.
An administrative and business centre for north-eastern Somalia, Garowe connects visitors with public institutions, local enterprise and family networks. It is a destination for purposeful journeys and a starting point for travel further afield.
Whether you are attending meetings, joining a family gathering or simply returning home, build your stay around the people and places that matter most to you.
Set on the Gulf of Aden, Bosaso is a busy port city with long-standing links to trade and coastal communities. Business, family and community bring travellers here from across the region.
Its commercial character reflects its place on Somalia's northern coast. A visit may return you to familiar surroundings — or introduce you to new people and opportunities through the city's trading networks.
One of East Africa's great cities, Nairobi brings together business, education, healthcare and family ties — and opens the way to the rest of Kenya.
Your visit might be built around an appointment, a conference, time with relatives or a longer stay. Plan the essentials first, then leave room to enjoy the city at your own pace.
Dubai is an international centre for business, shopping, tourism and onward travel — a city that brings together people from every corner of the world.
From meetings and exhibitions to family occasions and time away, the reason for your visit shapes your experience. Make room in your plans for the places and people you want to see, and settle the practical details before you leave.
A major Red Sea city, Jeddah welcomes visitors for business, family travel and journeys connected with Makkah and Madinah. Your plans may be personal, professional or part of a pilgrimage.
Communities and travellers from many countries meet here. Plan your stay and onward arrangements around the purpose of your journey, with your documents and local contacts ready before departure.
Review your documents, baggage and airport arrangements before departure — for every part of your itinerary, including connections and your return journey.
Travelling with a young child, needing assistance or bringing special equipment? Contact Daallo in advance so we can prepare the right arrangements for your flight.
Passport, visa and health requirements depend on your nationality, your travel document, your destination and any airports where you connect. Check the rules for your whole itinerary before you book, and again close to departure.
Your document checklist
Check
What to prepare
Passport or travel document
Confirm the validity, condition and blank pages required by each country, and that the document is accepted for your journey.
Entry and transit permission
Obtain any visa, electronic authorisation or residence document before departure. Check the permitted entry dates and length of stay.
Booking details
Make sure your name and passenger details match the document you will travel with. If there is an error, contact your booking office promptly.
Supporting evidence
Keep any required onward ticket, accommodation details, invitation, proof of funds or health certificate to hand.
Check every part of the journey
A connection can bring extra requirements, even if you plan to stay inside the airport. If you need to collect baggage, change airports or stay overnight, check whether you must enter the transit country. Include your return journey when reviewing permissions and document validity.
Children may need their own documents and additional consent or proof of relationship — particularly when travelling alone or with only one parent.
Keep your documents accessible
Travel with the original documents the authorities require and keep copies of approvals available offline. Check that any electronic approval is linked to the passport you will actually use. If you replace your passport after applying, ask the issuing authority what to do before you travel.
Daallo can help with your booking and airline document checks; immigration authorities decide entry. If a requirement is unclear, contact the relevant embassy, consulate or immigration authority before leaving for the airport.
Prepare for your arrival by checking the entry permission required for your passport, nationality and arrival airport. Check Somalia's E-Visa/ETAS requirements with the Immigration and Citizenship Agency before you book — and again before you depart.
Start with official guidance
Visit the Immigration and Citizenship Agency's official website for current application requirements and the link to its E-Visa/ETAS service. Read the latest instructions before entering passport details or making a payment.
If an application is needed, enter your passport and travel details carefully, review the documents requested and allow time for processing. Keep the approval with the passport used to apply. A submitted application or payment receipt is not an approved entry permission.
Confirm your arrival airport
If you hold a British passport, current UK guidance advises that an electronic approval requested for boarding a flight to Hargeisa may not be accepted for entry there. Departure checks and entry permission can differ between airports, so confirm arrival requirements with the relevant authority.
When asking Daallo about airline document checks, tell us your nationality, travel-document type and arrival airport. Immigration authorities remain responsible for visa and admission decisions.
Before departure
Recheck the requirements, carry your approval and supporting documents, and confirm the rules for your return or onward journey. Keep your host's or accommodation's contact details accessible for arrival formalities.
A little preparation goes a long way at the airport and on arrival. Review the health documents, medication rules and customs requirements for every country on your itinerary — including places where you transit or collect baggage.
Health documents and vaccinations
Some destinations require proof of vaccination, including yellow fever certificates in certain circumstances. Requirements can depend on your recent travel, transit points and age. Check the destination's current public-health guidance and speak to a qualified healthcare professional well before departure.
Keep any required health certificate with your travel documents. A general health recommendation and an entry requirement are different things — confirm both where relevant.
Travelling with medication
Check that your medicine is permitted in every country you will visit, especially if it contains a controlled substance. Ask the relevant authority about quantity limits, permissions and supporting documents. Where possible, carry medication in its original labelled packaging with your prescription or clinician's letter.
Keep essential medication within reach during the journey. If you use needles, liquid medicines, refrigeration or medical equipment, check airport-security rules and contact Daallo about airline acceptance or power arrangements. A prescription does not override another country's import rules.
Customs and the items you pack
Before buying or packing goods, check restrictions on food, plants, animal products, medicines and items for sale or business use. Keep receipts or permits where required, and use the declaration process if an item is restricted, taxable or over an allowance.
Cash and monetary instruments
Check the declaration thresholds on departure and arrival, including rules on foreign currency and monetary instruments. A cash declaration is separate from your baggage allowance, and a rule in one country may not apply throughout your journey.
Prepare for your connection as carefully as for your destination. Check the airports, terminals, local times and operating airlines on your itinerary. Your transfer may involve security screening, document checks, baggage collection or a new check-in.
Check whether you need transit permission
Visa and entry rules can apply even if you never leave the airport. Confirm the requirements for your nationality, travel document, layover and onward destination. If you must pass through immigration to collect bags, change airports or reach a hotel, check the country's entry rules as well as its transit rules.
Allow time for the whole transfer
Consider the distance between terminals, any change of airport, security queues and the next flight's check-in and boarding deadlines. If you have booked flights separately, do not assume your onward booking is protected if your first flight is delayed — ask the issuing airlines or agents before you buy.
Confirm what happens to your bags
At your first check-in, ask where your baggage is tagged to and whether you must collect it on the way. Keep your baggage receipts and check the destination printed on them. Through-checking is not automatic, especially on separate tickets or with different airlines.
If you must collect your bags, allow time to enter the country, reclaim them and present them at the next check-in desk. Allowances can differ from one flight to the next.
Assistance and changes on the way
If your connection involves mobility support or other assistance, tell us before you travel and confirm which airline or airport provides each part of the service. If plans change mid-journey, check the latest gate information and contact the airline responsible for the affected booking.
Pack the things you need for the journey where you can easily reach them. Your hand baggage — also called cabin baggage — must meet the limits for your ticket and be suitable for safe storage on board. Check the permitted weight and dimensions before you leave for the airport.
Check the complete allowance
Confirm whether a handbag, laptop bag, camera bag or other personal item is allowed in addition, or counts towards your allowance. Duty-free shopping does not create an extra entitlement. Measure your bag including wheels, handles and pockets, and ask Daallo or your issuing agent if your confirmation is unclear.
Keep essentials with you
Pack accessibly
Prepare before travel
Travel documents and valuables
Keep passports, approvals, money and important personal items in permitted cabin baggage.
Medication and family essentials
Carry what you may need during the journey and possible delays, subject to security and carriage rules.
Electronic devices
Protect devices against damage, and protect spare battery terminals individually against short circuits.
At security and on board
Check the liquids rules at each airport and keep any medical documentation to hand. On board, stow your bag in an overhead locker or under the seat in front as directed, keeping aisles and exits clear.
If your bag must travel in the hold
Cabin space can be limited. If staff need to check your cabin bag, first remove travel documents, valuables, essential medication, spare batteries and power banks. Confirm any charges and keep the baggage receipt.
Your checked baggage allowance with Daallo is based on total weight, not on the number of bags. Pack as many bags as you need, as long as their combined weight stays within the allowance for your cabin.
Your allowance by cabin
Cabin
Checked baggage allowance
How it works
Economy
30 kg
Total weight across all your checked bags
Business
40 kg
Total weight across all your checked bags
Read your allowance correctly
Your allowance is shown on your ticket or booking confirmation. If another airline operates part of your journey, its own baggage rules may apply to that flight. Ask Daallo or your issuing agent to explain anything unclear before you travel.
Prepare your checked bags
Weigh your bags before departure and check that their combined weight is within your allowance.
Attach contact identification outside, and place a second set of details inside.
Secure loose straps and protect the contents with suitable packing.
Keep travel documents, money, valuables and essential medication with you.
Remove power banks and spare lithium batteries — these must stay in cabin baggage.
Extra bags and special items
Expecting to exceed your allowance, or bringing sports equipment, a musical instrument, or an oversized or fragile item? Contact us before travel with your route, date, packed dimensions and weight. Charges, capacity and handling must be confirmed in advance — arriving at check-in with an item does not guarantee acceptance.
Children and connecting journeys
Check the separate rules for infant baggage, strollers and child restraints. If another airline operates part of your trip, review its allowance and confirm where your bags will be collected. Keep your baggage receipts until your journey is complete.
Everyday products can be restricted on aircraft because of their batteries, fuel, pressure or chemical content. Acceptance can depend on quantity, packaging and where the item is carried — and moving it from hand baggage to checked baggage does not automatically make it acceptable.
Batteries and electronic devices
Carry spare lithium batteries and power banks in cabin baggage and protect their terminals individually. Check the rating and condition of each battery. Ask Daallo before travelling with larger batteries, unusual equipment or a battery-powered mobility aid.
Check these items before packing
Item
What to do
Sprays and toiletries
Check quantity, packaging and airport liquids rules. A household chemical is not treated like a personal toiletry.
Sharp objects and sports equipment
Check security restrictions and airline acceptance. Pack approved checked items safely to protect baggage handlers.
Smart luggage
Tell us whether the battery can be removed, and provide its rating before travel.
Medication, needles and medical equipment
Check documentation and security requirements, and arrange any airline approval or assistance in advance.
Firearms, ammunition or replica weapons
Contact the airline before making travel arrangements. Do not bring them without confirming every legal and airline requirement.
Ask before you travel
Send us the item's name, purpose, quantity and packaging — and for equipment, its model, battery type and rating. Keep any approval with you at check-in. Airport security and destination laws may impose additional restrictions.
A family reunion, a school visit, a community journey or a team event — it all starts with people who need to be in the same place. Tell Daallo about your group's plans and we will review the flight options and arrangements with you before you book.
Start with the journey details
Choose one organiser to coordinate the enquiry. Share your departure city, destination, preferred dates and flexibility, and the number of adults, children and infants. If people will depart from different cities, include each one.
Tell us about seating requests, equipment or assistance needs at this stage. For school or youth groups, explain who will accompany the children. For pilgrimage travel, confirm permits and entry arrangements with your authorised organiser and the relevant authorities.
From enquiry to booking
Send your requestShare the journey outline and the organiser's contact details.
Review the offerCheck the proposed flights, total price, baggage allowance, payment terms and passenger-information deadlines.
Confirm the arrangementsFollow the acceptance and payment instructions in the offer. An enquiry or quotation alone does not reserve seats.
Submit passenger detailsCheck names against travel documents and send the information requested before the agreed deadline.
Keep everyone informed
Give every traveller the confirmed itinerary, baggage details and airport instructions, and agree how the organiser will reach the group if a flight changes. Seating together depends on the flight, availability and safety requirements — discuss your preference when you enquire.
Ready to travel together?
Send your route, dates, traveller numbers and contact details, with any timing that matters, such as an event start or an onward connection.
Business journeys involve more than choosing a flight. You may need to coordinate several travellers, meet an event deadline or stay within a travel policy. Tell Daallo how your organisation travels, and we will review your requirements and discuss any commercial arrangement that may be available.
Tell us about your travel programme
Share your organisation's name, the routes you use, how often staff travel and how many travellers are involved. Let us know who books and approves journeys, whether you work with a travel agent, and who should be our contact.
Explain what matters most — predictable booking arrangements, flexibility for changing plans, coordinated event travel or information for internal reporting — and any travel-policy requirements we should consider.
Review the terms before you commit
Assess any offer against the journeys your organisation expects to make: the routes and fares covered, how reservations are made, payment arrangements and rules for changes and cancellations, the agreement period and who handles your questions.
Commercial terms, support contacts and reporting apply only as agreed in writing. An organisational enquiry does not automatically provide discounted fares, priority services or more flexible tickets.
Meetings and events
For a conference, staff visit or company event, send the venue, event dates and preferred arrival and departure times, identifying travellers coming from different cities. Where an agent manages your bookings, include them in the discussion.
When your organisation or group needs a dedicated flight, send us a passenger-charter enquiry. Tell us where you need to go, when you need to arrive and how many people are travelling. We will review your request and confirm whether a charter can be arranged for your route and dates.
Give us a clear journey outline
Include your preferred departure and arrival airports, travel dates and passenger numbers, and whether you need one-way, return or several sectors. Add preferred local times and tell us which details are flexible.
For an event, tell us when passengers must be at their destination, and include any onward connections or ground transfers. If passenger numbers differ between flights, explain how.
Include practical requirements
Describe expected baggage and any unusually large equipment, assistance needs, children in the group and any seating or service requests. Include the organiser's name, organisation, telephone number and email address. A request does not by itself confirm aircraft availability or acceptance.
Review any proposal
Before accepting, check the itinerary, airports, operating airline, capacity, baggage terms and services included, together with the total price, currency, payment schedule and the conditions if plans change or the flight cannot operate as proposed. Keep a written record of the agreement. Every traveller must still meet the document and entry requirements for their journey.
Journeys with young children are easier when the essentials are arranged before you leave. Check your child's travel documents, review your booking and contact Daallo about any equipment, seating or assistance that needs advance arrangement.
Before you book
Confirm the rules for your child's age, fare and seating before completing your reservation. If you plan to use a child restraint, bring a stroller or request a particular seat, share the details so the arrangements can be checked for your flight.
Ask which facilities are available on your itinerary. Please do not plan around a bassinet, baby meal or other onboard service until its availability is confirmed.
Keep essentials close
Your child's travel documents and any required permissions.
Feeding items, baby food or formula, and what you need to prepare them.
Nappies, wipes, spare clothing and any required medication.
A favourite comfort item and a few quiet activities.
At the airport and on board
Allow time for document checks, baggage handling and any assistance you have arranged. Ask where your stroller will be handed over and returned, and keep essentials with you before handing over equipment.
On board, follow the cabin crew's guidance on seating and securing your child during take-off, landing and turbulence. Keep aisles and safety equipment clear, and ask the crew whenever you need help.
Contact Daallo before booking a flight for a child travelling without an accompanying adult. Tell us the child's age, the proposed flights and any connections. Eligibility, itinerary, support arrangements, documents and any charge must be confirmed before you complete the booking.
Plan the whole itinerary
Tell us about every part of the journey, including separate tickets and flights operated by another airline. Ask whether the connections can be accepted, and where confirmed support begins and ends — an arrangement on one flight does not automatically continue onto another. If several children are travelling together, give each child's age and explain who, if anyone, will accompany them.
Documents and adult contacts
Prepare the child's travel documents and any consent or service forms requested through Daallo's confirmed process. Provide accurate names and telephone numbers for the adults bringing and collecting the child, and for the parent or guardian. Share identity documents only through the secure process the airline provides.
Prepare your child
Explain what will happen at check-in, boarding, during the flight and on arrival, and how to ask the airport team or cabin crew for help. Pack permitted essentials, a familiar item and the contact details they may need.
Departure and collection
Follow the advised arrival time and handover instructions. The adult bringing the child should stay contactable until told they may leave. The collecting adult should follow the confirmed identification and collection arrangements — tell Daallo promptly if that person or their details change.
Please let Daallo know at least 48 hours before departure if you need medical or special assistance. Tell us what would help — moving through the airport, boarding, taking your seat or leaving the aircraft — and share your route, travel dates and booking reference so we can prepare.
Explain your requirements
Tell us about help with walking distances, steps, transfers or communication, and any seating request if you travel with a companion. If personal or medical documentation is needed, use the secure process Daallo provides.
Your wheelchair or mobility aid
Provide the equipment type, weight and dimensions (including folded), whether parts detach, how it is secured and any special handling instructions. For powered equipment, include the battery type and manufacturer's information. Confirm acceptance and handling before travel, and where your equipment will be handed over and returned.
Personal care and other needs
Discuss any help you need with eating, medication, using the lavatory or transferring between seats, and whether a travelling companion is needed. Cabin crew are not a substitute for a personal carer. For sensory or communication needs, tell us how you prefer to receive information. If medical clearance may be relevant, ask Daallo about its requirements.
On the day of travel
Follow the arrival instructions for your flight and make yourself known to the check-in team. Keep your assistance confirmation with your travel documents.
Choose your route and dates, compare the options and book with confidence. Review the itinerary, baggage allowance and fare conditions before you complete your booking.
Choose your destination and dates to see the options available with Daallo Airlines. Review the journey, baggage allowance and fare conditions before you book, so you know exactly what is included.

Before choosing your fare
Check the departure and arrival airports, dates and local times carefully, along with any connection and the airline operating each flight. A similar city name does not always mean the same airport.
Read the baggage allowance and the conditions for changes, cancellations and refunds, and compare the total price for all travellers, including any extras. Availability can change until your booking is complete.
Flight schedules
Select your departure city, destination and date to see the scheduled flights, then search to see live availability and fares. Times are shown in each airport's local time — check the arrival date as well as the time. For a flight you have already booked, use Flight status.
From choosing your flight to receiving your confirmation, take a moment at each step to check your journey details. If you need help, contact Daallo or the agent handling your booking.
Choose your journeySearch your route and dates. Check each airport, date, local time and connection.
Review your fareRead the baggage allowance and the rules for changes, cancellations and refunds. Review the total price and currency.
Enter traveller detailsUse each traveller's name exactly as it appears on their travel document, and contact details where you can receive updates.
Check your selectionsReview all passengers, dates and selected services. Arrange assistance or special equipment in advance.
Pay and keep your confirmationFollow the payment instructions for your booking, then save your confirmation and ticket receipt.
Payment and confirmation
Use one of the payment methods shown for your booking and check the amount and currency before authorising payment. If a payment deadline is shown, follow it and check that your ticket has been issued.
A reservation reference identifies your booking; on its own it does not confirm payment or ticket issue. Review your ticket receipt and itinerary as soon as you receive them.
If something is unclear
If payment appears to have been taken but no confirmation has arrived, check your email and spam folder, then contact the booking office before paying again. Provide the passenger name, journey, approximate payment time and any reference. If you booked through a travel agent, contact them first.
We couldn't find a booking with these details. Check them and try again, or contact the office or agent that issued your ticket.
Review before you travel
Check passenger names, travel dates, airports and flight times, along with your ticket status and baggage allowance. Keep a copy of your itinerary with you while you travel.
Make sure your contact details are up to date so we can reach you about your trip. If you notice a spelling error, an incorrect date or missing information, contact the ticket issuer promptly — corrections are subject to the ticket rules.
Tell us about additional needs
Contact Daallo before travel if you need assistance, are bringing a mobility aid or special item, or are arranging travel for a child without an accompanying adult. Ask for the arrangements to be confirmed for every flight involved.
Booked through an agent
Your travel agent can help with the booking they issued, including payment queries, ticket corrections and change or refund requests. Keep their confirmation and contact details with your travel documents.
Before requesting a different flight or cancelling your journey, check your ticket conditions and contact the office or agent that issued it. The options available depend on your fare, itinerary and ticket status.
Change a booking
For a direct booking, retrieve your trip in Manage booking and review the change options shown. Check the new flights, any fare difference and fee before confirming. If the option is unavailable, contact Daallo. For an agency booking, ask your agent to review your preferred dates and quote the full cost.
A request or quotation does not confirm a change. Keep following your existing booking until you receive confirmation of the new arrangements.
Cancellation and refund requests
For eligible direct bookings, use the cancellation option in the itinerary menu after retrieving your booking, and review the conditions and any amount shown before confirming. Then submit a separate refund request using the option displayed — cancelling alone does not request a refund.
Keep your cancellation acknowledgement and refund reference, and ask the ticket issuer to confirm the assessment, any deductions, the refund method and next steps. Some fares restrict refunds.

See the latest information for flights operated by Daallo Airlines before you leave for the airport. Search by flight number or route and choose your travel date. For flights operated by another airline, check that airline's information.
Understanding the update
Times are local to each airport. Where available, you will see the scheduled time, the latest estimate and a status such as boarding, departed, arrived, delayed or cancelled, together with the time of the last update.
Flight information can change, so keep following your booking instructions and any message from Daallo or your ticket issuer. Unless Daallo advises otherwise, a delay does not change your check-in or boarding deadline.
If your plans are affected
Keep your booking reference ready and contact the office or agent that issued your ticket. If you have a separate onward booking, check it independently. At the airport, watch the information screens and listen for announcements — gate details can change after check-in.
Update unavailable
We can't show an update for this flight right now. Check your booking messages or contact Daallo or your booking agent for the latest information.
Check in, prepare your documents and head to the airport with confidence. Keep your travel documents and booking confirmation to hand, and review the airport instructions for your itinerary.
Online check-in is available for eligible flights from 24 hours until 1 hour before scheduled departure. Availability depends on your flight and the departure airport. Have your travel document and booking confirmation ready, then follow the instructions shown for your journey.
Online check-in unavailable
Online check-in isn't available for this flight. Please check in at the airport, or contact Daallo for help.
After checking in
Read your confirmation carefully and keep any boarding pass issued. Check whether you need a printed copy or an airport-issued boarding pass. Online check-in does not replace document checks, security screening or baggage drop.
If you have checked baggage, go to the designated counter before the deadline for your flight. If you have a special service request, follow the arrangements Daallo has confirmed.

Allow time to check in at the airport. Don't delay your journey by retrying online check-in repeatedly.

What you need to do
Before leaving home
Review your latest itinerary and messages, check baggage limits and prepare your travel documents.
At check-in
Present your travel document, booking reference and any entry or transit permissions. Mention any confirmed assistance or approved special items.
After checking bags
Keep your baggage receipts and check the destination on the tags, then continue to security and your gate.
If you checked in online
Online check-in does not remove airport document checks or baggage-drop requirements. If you cannot get a boarding pass, or your flight is not eligible for online check-in, use airport check-in and allow time for support.
Assistance and family travel
Keep your assistance confirmation available and make yourself known to the check-in team. Families should keep children's documents and essentials within reach, and ask where a stroller or mobility aid will be collected and returned.
Boarding
Keep your boarding pass and travel document ready, watch the screens for gate changes and follow staff instructions. Be at the gate before boarding closes — completing check-in does not extend that deadline.
